Miss Sophie gets a Distinction in her Dance Teacher Certification!

Miss Sophie’s teaching results are in and it’s a DISTINCTION with 94%!!!!

I honestly couldn’t be prouder.

After three years of dedication, training, commitment and growth, Sophie is now officially a BTDA Registered Teacher– and what an incredible teacher she has become.

Sophie, you are such a huge asset to me and to this school. Your kindness, patience and genuine care for every single student does not go unnoticed. You create such a positive, nurturing environment in your classes, and the children absolutely adore you (for very good reason!).

I know you don’t always see just how amazing you are, but please believe me when I say this result is a true reflection of your talent, your work ethic and the teacher you are. 94% is no small achievement… it is exceptional.

We are so lucky to have you as part of Team VG, and I feel incredibly proud to have supported you on this journey. This is only the beginning for you, and I cannot wait to see everything you go on to achieve.

Keep shining, Miss Sophie

Frequently Asked Questions

Can my child join if they’ve never danced before?

Absolutely! We welcome beginners at every age and place them in classes that match their comfort level and confidence.

What should we wear to class?

We recommend comfortable dancewear (tights, leotards, or tracksuit pants) and appropriate shoes. Uniform details are shared at enrolment. We have a big box of spare tap shoes if you are trying tap before you buy your own shoes.

Do you offer trial weeks?

We offer a two-week trial with no obligation to continue

Can I watch my child?

We allow parents to watch their children in their first week, then in their second week we ask parents to leave them with us to get them used to the class environment. For our lower school students there is also a watching week at the end of term for you to see how your child has progressed.

Does my child have to take exams?

No one is ever required to take exams. We offer British Theatre Dance Association (BTDA) qualifications for those who want to mark their progress with recognised achievements. But we’re equally proud of the students who simply show up each week to dance, grow, and have fun.
